Northwind began in 1996 as a home based business in Columbus, Ohio, delivering medical first aid supplies to local companies. From the beginning, we offered only our core values of 100% customer satisfaction, quality products, unbeatable service, and excellent prices.

In 1998, the company moved to Lewis Center, Ohio, just north of Columbus, to a small 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse. We introduced our safety product lines in eye, hearing, and head protection. As the company continued to grow, so did our product offerings and soon we outgrew our little warehouse.

In 2006, Northwind relocated just west of Columbus in Plain City, Ohio, purchasing over two acres and building a new facility featuring a 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse, a company store and offices. We introduced our restroom product line in the Fall of 2006, ranging from paper products to foam soap.
